if resin contain no acetaldehyde(residual or other) should any chance to have no acetaldehyde in preform???

That's not true. El secado no eleva los niveles de Acetaldehído, el tiempo de secado lo que puede afectar unicamente son los valores de I.V.
El acetaldehído esta directamente vinculado a la plastificación, al tiempo o sobre exposición del material EN EL CAÑON, no en el secador. Los niveles de Acetaldehído se elevan cuando el material pasa mucho tiempo en esta última etapa, PERO EL TIEMPO DE SECADO NO TIENE NADA QUE VER CON LOS NIVELES DE ACETALDEHÍDO.

Higher the drying time, higher the AA levels, hence material should not be used if dried for over 8 hours.

Help !!
Can someone advice me should i get a ISBM or a IBM machine to Blow PP milk bottle ?? I understand ISBM have great advantage over PET material but i have doubt it will be optimal for PP material given the cost of the machine is so expensive. What are the advantages and disadvantages for both machine when blowing PP material ??

Hello,

Could anyone tell me how the drying process of PET affects Intrinsic Viscosity and Acetaldehyde levels. If you can point me towards articles/tech journals documenting moisture levels and IV/AA, or just give your own information I would greatly appreciate it.
